Intensive one week Landscape Painting & Creativity
Workshop in
Painting. Color theory. Visual creativity techniques. Slides of contemporary and modern art will be
shown each evening. It is as well an art appreciation course.

Tjaša Iris, an internationally acclaimed
artist will guide you in order for you to explore your creative potential,
develop your own painting style and see and be inspired in some of the most
beautiful places in the world as
This workshop is going to open your eyes on art. You will learn a lot about
painting. Tjaša will work with you so that you develop your own personal
style. It is as well an art appreciation course for those of you who love art and
will wish to know more about it. It is also a cultural & gourmet tour. You
will get to know a lot about the country that you will be visiting. About its art & history. It is for you to enjoy their
best wines & cuisine. It will be about pleasurable painting. Plein air landscape painting. Four hours of painting per
day and one hour of an evening slide lecture - art appreciation course. It will
be about relaxing and having fun while learning and discovering. Many museum
& cultural sites visits. In a couple of afternoons you will be as well
invited to go trekking with Tjaša. And more...
DAY BY DAY: The first day will be about loosing
the fear and about getting loose. In the following days we will get more
intellectual, but we will also play a lot. Tjaša finds
learning through having fun as the most important way of learning & making
progress in life. You will be painting without thinking,
you will analyze lots of paintings painted by very famous artists with Tjaša. Learn about the visual. Analyze from the highest
intellectual point of view why something works and why something else does not.
The visual language, the energy of colour, about being personal, what makes
certain painters genius, about powerful, passion, about joy of life…

is an artist with a multicultural profile. Born in

She had many exhibitions in different countries as in

VAN GOGH AT SAINT REMY

Van Gogh came to Saint Remy de Provence on 8th May 1889. He lived at hospital Saint Paul
de Mausole. His work from this period is most
extraordinary. He produced 150 paintings and drawings. On 16st May
1890 Van Gogh leaves Saint Remy de Provence for Auvers sur
lavanders and poppies |

Landscape painting workshop. We will be painting on the paths around places
that Van Gogh loved to paint most in the last years of his life.
Strong emphasis on color theory.
Slides of contemporary and modern art will be shown each evening with emphasis
on Van Gogh’s paintings.
We will gather each morning and live for our painting
locations. Four days will be completely dedicated to the work of Vincent Van
Gogh and his presence at





Tjasa will also introduce you to wine of the area and take you to local wine tastings.
The nature in this places
didn't change much since Van Gogh was painting there. It remained green,
savage, magnificly preserved. It remained a harbor of peace. You will discover it while walking and
painting along it's paths of light perfume and

Emphasis will be put on perception
and observation, as the bases to painting. I will help you develop your
personal outlook, as well as inspire your
imagination in all this magical places and to help you appreciate art to the
full. We will paint 4 hours every morning. |

Admissions are opened to 8 participants of all
levels, from the beginners to advanced. Because the workshop is limited to 8 participants, I
encourage you to send your enrolment form with deposit as soon as possible.
In event of inclement weather, arrangements will be made for indoor painting.
There will be no rain dates or refunds for inclement weather. I encourage non painter partners to join us
for daily excursions, meals and the evening art appreciation course by
offering them reduced rates. |

DAY BY DAY PROGRAM
DAY 1 we meet at 7.30 pm in the hall of Hotel

DAY 2 we paint from 9 am until 1 pm at the park where Van Gogh was painting.
In the afternoon we go to see place of the "Yellow house" of Van
Gogh. Slides at 6 pm and dinner after that.

DAY 4 we move to the country side near Saint Remy in the morning, to our farm house. You will paint in the country side around the farm house. Slides at 6 pm and dinner after that.

In the morning painting at the farm. Afternoon for finishing paintings and visit to the village of Le Beaux
