Non-painters are invited to join us
for daily excursions, meals and evening art appreciation course.
Workshop fee is including:
Cocktail the first
evening, 7 nights in a double room at
the farm, 7 breakfasts, 4 light snacks at lunch time, 7 dinners (wine
included), 6 days of lessons, acrylic colors (for our
lessons) , brushes, paper (for the first day),
canvases 5, use of painting boards, French easels and chairs included), evening
art appreciation course with slide lectures, numerous excursions listed below.

If you prefere
a 4 star hotel, we can book you a room in the nearby San Gimignano hotel. The workshop fee for a 4 star hotel is
from 2350 Euros in a double room. Single room supplement is
from 600 Euros. For non - painters: 2100
Euros or (painting lessons excluded).

Including
painting and art history excursions:
- a whole day excursion across little towns of
- an
afternoon excursion to San Gimignano, visit of the
old city center with the fortress, entrance to the
Cathedral where we will see frescos of Barna di Siena, Benozzo Gozzoli, Bartalo di Fredi, Ghirlandaio...
- a whole
day painting excursion to Volterra. Visit of the most
important
- one whole
day trekking painting excursion to Castel Vecchio a city abandon in the 13st
century in the middle of the woods.
- afternoon trekking
excursion to Montauto, an ancient hill town on the Frachigena road.
Great Italian Cuisine is big part of the great experience that will be offered to you. It is
impossible to visit Italy and not to taste all the wonderful dishes. For
dinners we will go to local farms and restaurants. Most have a 3 course menu,
some have a 4 course menu with wine. We will have a typical Italian pizza
evening one day. All the dishes are local Tuscan cuisine. For lunch Tjasa will get you fresh lunch every day. She will go shop
every morning before the start of the lessons and she will buy: salamis,
cheeses, fresh vegetables, typical Tuscan breads...
Please note
that the workshops are as well opened to patrons of art who
want to support the work of Tjaša
Iris. By giving a
donation – a financial aid to help fund one of the future Tjaša’s
art exhibitions and art projects, you will be granted a workshop. This gives you the
possibility to deduct part of the workshop from your taxes. Here is a LIST of the exhibitions that you can
help fund.

Also in the past centuries, there would never be great artists without great
patrons of art – who supported their art. “There would be no Renaissance
without the Medici family” as Tjaša
says. All donors will be publicly named in Tjaša’s next published catalogue (unless they
want to remain anonymous) as well as on the web site under the project that
they help fund.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ACCEPTED TO THE COURSE. WORKSHOPS ARE RESERVED BY MAKING
700 Euros DEPOSIT (900 Euros per single room). Acceptable
methods of payment are Western Union, or by electronic bank transfer
(for those paying ahead of time) PAYABLE TO TJASA IRIS stating “financial
aid to help fund Tjasa Iris art exhibitions & art
projects, in case you would like to be Tjasa’s patron
of art. REGISTRATION IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS DETERMINED BY THE
DATE OF YOUR CHECK DEPOSIT.
FINAL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 45 DAYS
BEFORE DEPARTURE DATE.

workshop is limited to only 8 participants, I encourage you to send your
enrolment form with deposit as soon as possible.
